E-Library Upgrade

Did you find some differences when searching the E-Library? The E-Library has undergone an upgrade with new features. We hope you will find using the E-Library an easier task with these features.

Here are some of the new features:

Additional search options — Try to limit your search by Course code, ISBN, publisher, etc. in “Advanced search”, so that you can locate the required information faster.

Multiple Topic Selection in Facets — In case your search returned hundreds of search results, try to set some limits on the facets, appeared on the left of the page, to refine the search results.

Search by date range – When you want to look up information published within a certain period, try this function.

Link to Google Books — If Google Books contains information or full-text of a book in your search result, a link will be shown under the “Details” tab to bring you to such information.

Add Page to E-Shelf — By adding the search result pages to your E-shelf, you can visit your search results again without repeating the whole search process.

Apart from the enhanced functions, have you also noticed the link of New Arrivals? It brings you information, such as call number and location, on the new additions to the library collection.

Experience these new features at the Electronic Library (www.lib.ouhk.edu.hk).
