services used in construction, manufacturing and
transportation, which are
produced
by American Society for Testing and Materials
(ASTM) International? Try ASTM
standards. You can locate the full-text of
the ASTM active standards via IHS Standards
Expert.
IEC
standards (via IHS
Standards Expert)
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)
develops international standards for electrical,
electronic and related technologies. You can
search the full-text of the IEC active standards
via IHS Standards Expert.

British Standards Online
Need some information
about British or adopted European industry
standards? You will find them in
British Standards Online.
Published by British Standards Institute (BSI),
British Standards Online provides full-text
industry standards of British Standards
Institution on more than 55,000 British and adopted
European and international standards, including
both active and historical documents.

Official Methods of
Analysis
of AOAC
At the Official Methods of Analysis
published by AOAC International, you
will find the most comprehensive and reliable
collection of chemical and microbiological
methods available in the world, which are also
contained in many of the Codex food standards.

undergone an
upgrade with new
features. We
hope you will
find using the

Here are some of
the new
features:
Additional
search options —
Try to limit
your search by
Course code,
ISBN, publisher,
etc. in
“Advanced
search”, so that
you can locate
the required
information
faster.
Multiple Topic
Selection in
Facets — In case
your search
returned
hundreds of
search results,
try to set some
limits on the
facets, appeared
on the left of
the page, to
refine the
search results.
Search by date
range – When you
want to look up
information
published within
a certain
period, try this
function.
Link to Google
Books — If
Google Books
contains
information or
full-text of a
book in your
search result, a
link will be
shown
under the
“Details” tab to
bring you to
such
information.
Add Page to
E-Shelf — By
adding the
search result
pages to your
E-shelf, you can
visit your
search results
again without
repeating the
whole search
process.
Apart from the
enhanced
functions, have
you also noticed
the link of
New Arrivals?
It brings you
information,
such as call
number and
location, on the
new additions to
the library
collection.
