South China Morning Post withdrawn from Wisenews According to the new arrangement between the publisher of South China Morning Post and Wisers Information Ltd., South China Morning Post (SCMP) was withdrawn from WiseNews effective from 1 January 2015. Users can access the historic archive of SCMP from the following databases via the OUHK Electronic Library:
Cancellation of Harvard Business Review (Simplified Chinese version) Harvard Business Review (Simplified Chinese version) (provider: CNKI) will be removed from the
Electronic Library and it will no longer be available with effect from
1 January 2015.
The CHANT database in Electronic Library has been upgraded and Jiaguwen, one of the databases under CHANT, was renamed as New Jiaguwen. The Jiaguwen database provides access to seven mainland and overseas major collections of oracular inscriptions on tortoise shells and bones. Search functions were offered and Original Jiagu characters and orthographic translation were putting side by side for easy reference. |

Extension of opening hours during examination period
From 26 January 2015 to 1 March 2015, the opening hours of the Library will be extended from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
to meet the
increasing
demand for
library services
during
examination
period. While you find the library a great and quiet place for study, please keep it an ideal place for other users too!
Wireless printing in the library Do you know that apart from using the Internet workstations inside the library
for printing, you can bring along your own notebook computer to connect to the printers inside
