Dr Beatrice Lam of the School of A&SS will join Dr Hayes Tang of EdUHK in discussing a qualitative study of graduates' experience of school-work transition in light of implications on Hong Kong's higher education policy.
Drawing on the preliminary findings from her on-going project, Dr Emily Ge will show how five to seven-year-old Cantonese-speaking children with Autism Spectrum Disorder use syntactic and prosodic cues to interpret focus in dialogues, and discuss the implications for evidence-based practice for Cantonese-speaking autistic children.
The dates of the conference, postponed earlier due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, have been set, and the call for papers is open again! With the theme of 'achieving excellence in elderly care through gerontechnology', the conference will look at the most recent innovations, trends, and challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the development and use of gerontechnology. Overseas attendees are welcome to attend via Zoom.
