Dr Christy Qiu will share her findings of an exploratory study on peer collaborative writing, which reveals its positive effects on EFL learners' writing skills in terms of complexity, accuracy, and fluency, as well as their awareness of co-regulation, self-regulation and socially shared regulation, and their self-efficacy for L2 writing. The research findings may yield pedagogical implications for L2 language teaching practitioners regarding the design and implementation of collaborative writing activities in the classroom.
The dates of the conference, postponed earlier due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, have been set. With the theme of 'achieving excellence in elderly care through gerontechnology', the conference will look at the most recent innovations, trends, and challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the development and use of gerontechnology.
