'Have you ever thought of turning your hobby into a career?' This is what Mr James Hong, General Manager (Marketing Division) of Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited, asked 100 attendees at a talk titled 'Electronic Games: from Hobby to Career' on 13 January. Mr Hong shared his path from video game fan to senior executive of a game developer. He also talked about his 13 years of working experience during which he frequently travelled across the Asia-Pacific Region, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as staff training programmes in his company.
