On 20 June, DAAO hosted a webinar titled 'Chinese Medicine Practitioner's Tips for post COVID and beyond.' Our alumni speaker, Dr CHUA Ka-kit, furnished audience with practical Chinese medicine knowledge and shared healthcare recipes and exercises fit for people who caught COVID.<\/p>

One of the key takeaways from the webinar was sharing on the key principles of Chinese Medicine. Dr CHUA pointed out that Chinese Medicine is scientific and health is about balance and harmony (\u300c\u548c\u300d) inside our bodies. Some Chinese Medical literature even suggested that human beings could live up to 120 years if conditions are well kept. During the Q&A session, an interesting question was raised and asked about the effectiveness of Chinese medicine for non-Chinese. Dr CHUA explained that it would work even more effective on non-Chinese as they have less drug resistance to Chinese Medicine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
