Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Chinese (Programme: JS9011) - Programme Structure

Year-1 entry: (applicable to the first year entry in 2023-2024)

Students admitted to the programme through Year-1 entry are required to successfully complete at least 120 credit-units as follows:

• 69 credit-units of core courses;
• 24 credit-units of core elective courses;
• 6 credit-units of elective courses;
• 6 credit-units of General Education courses;
• 6 credit-units of University English courses;
• 9 credit-units of University Core courses.

Year-2 entry: (applicable to the senior year entry in 2024-2025)

Students admitted to the programme through Year-2 Entry are required to successfully complete at least 90 credit-units as follows:

• 51 credit-units of core courses;
• 24 credit-units of core elective courses;
• 6 credit-units of elective courses;
• 9 credit-units of University Core courses.

Year-3 entry:(applicable to the senior year entry in 2025-2026)

Students admitted to the programme through Year-3 entry are required to successfully complete at least 66 credit-units as follows:

• 33 credit-units of core courses;
• 24 credit-units of core elective courses;
• 9 credit-units of University Core courses.
