General Structure<\/strong><\/h4>

Year-1 entry:<\/strong>
Students admitted to the programme through Year-1 Entry are required to successfully complete at least 120 credit-units, according to the following guidelines:<\/p>

  • 60 credit-units of Core courses;<\/li>
  • 18 credit-units of Core Elective courses;<\/li>
  • 21 credit-units of Elective courses;<\/li>
  • 6 credit-units of General Education courses;<\/li>
  • 6 credit-units of English Language courses; and<\/li>
  • 9 credit-units of University Core courses.<\/li><\/ul>

    Year-2 entry:\u00a0(2024\/2025 onwards)<\/em><\/strong>
    Students admitted to the programme through Year-2 Entry are required to successfully complete at least 93 credit-units, according to the following guidelines:<\/p>

    • 54 credit-units of Core courses (including TRAN 1261ACF, TRAN 1271ACF, and all Middle, Higher and Senior level Core courses);<\/li>
    • 18 credit-units of Core Elective courses;<\/li>
    • 12 credit-units of Elective courses or English Language courses (ENGL 1101AEF is recommended to satisfy specific Core course prerequisite), or to include a maximum of 3 credit-units of General Education courses; and<\/li>
    • 9 credit-units of University Core courses.<\/li><\/ul>

      Year-3 entry:\u00a0(2024\/2025 onwards)<\/em><\/strong>
      Students admitted to the programme through Year-3 Entry are required to successfully complete at least 66 credit-units, according to the following guidelines:<\/p>

      • a. 36 credit-units of Core courses (including all Higher and Senior level Core courses);<\/li>
      • 18 credit-units of Core Elective courses;<\/li>
      • 3 credit-units of Elective courses or English Language courses (ENGL 1101 AEF is recommended to satisfy specific Core course prerequisite), or General Education courses; and<\/li>
