training in criminology, economics, psychology and political science from the perspective of social sciences<\/li><li>Provides advanced training in various social sciences disciplines, such as economics, psychology, sociology and politics science, in order for students to reflect on social sciences issues from different academic viewpoints<\/li><li>Trains social sciences practitioners with sound knowledge in theory and practice to help people, organizations and communities develop innovative solutions, and to accomplish excellence in undertaking research in social sciences<\/li><li>Provides postgraduate education and training in public and social policy analysis and governance with economic, psychology and political science emphases<\/li><li>Graduates will be particularly competitive in the job market for positions directly or indirectly related to social research in both private and public sectors.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><span able to:<\/div><ul><li>Explain global, social and human issues from multiple perspectives of social sciences;<\/li><li>Conduct rigorous analysis of acute global, social and human issues with appropriate research methods in social sciences;<\/li><li>Apply the theoretical accounts of economics, sociology, public governance and\/or psychology for a critical understanding of acute global, social and human issues; and<\/li><li>Evaluate the contributions and limitations of different social research methodologies in social sciences.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><span
