  • Concentrates on master-level applied psychology for organizational, consumer behavioural and general decision-making activities that are closely tied to the growth of individuals and society as a whole<\/li>
  • Offers teaching of both theoretical principles and research skills expected of a competent social scientist<\/li>
  • Prepares individuals of diverse backgrounds for the realm of applied psychology<\/li><\/ul>

    Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to:<\/div>
    • Critically review and consolidate the respective knowledge of three key applied psychology areas, namely work and organizational psychology, consumer psychology and behavioural decision-making;<\/li>
    • Describe and critique key issues in applied psychology;<\/li>
    • Design and apply appropriate research methodologies to study and address questions in applied psychology;<\/li>
    • Evaluate the quality of research designs and against scientific criteria and professional ethics; and<\/li>
    • Communicate effectively the concepts and arguments of applied psychology.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>
