This symposium aims to promote interest, research and interaction among academics on the latest development of culture and the Humanities in the Digital Age. It will also serve as a platform for discussions to explore the changes that digitalization has brought to the discipline of art, film, theatre, literature, education, media studies, cultural studies and sociology.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">We welcome abstract submissions and proposals that inquire into digital culture and humanities from a variety of perspectives including, but not limited to, the following:<\/span><\/span><\/div><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The Logic of Selection in the Digital Age<\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Digital Needs of Civic Society<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Digital Literacy<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Corpus Linguistics<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Teaching in the Digital Era<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The teaching and reading of English literature in the Digital Age<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div><h3><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Abstract Submission<\/span><\/h3><div><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The abstracts should serve as a summary of the presented paper and\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">should be no more than 500 words long<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Please submit your abstract to <a href=\"mailto:ridch@hkmu.edu.hk\">ridch@hkmu.edu.hk<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">All emailed abstract submissions must include a completed submission form plus the abstract.
