Biography
Mr. Mau received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) – Accounting Option from Hong Kong Baptist University and his Master of Accountancy from Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia. He is a Certified Public Accountant in both Hong Kong and the USA. He is also a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Mr. Mau has rich work experience in the accounting and auditing fields. Before joining HKMU, he worked as an Associate Director in an international CPA firm, specializing in assurance services for the manufacturing sector. Major projects under his direct supervision included various Initial Public Offerings and due-diligence projects. Additionally, he has teaching experience at the sub-degree level in accounting-related subjects, such as Cost Accounting. Currently, his teaching areas include auditing, financial accounting and cost accounting.
