Bio Sketch:
Dr. Fakhar Shahzad is a results-oriented and highly accomplished academic professional with a strong interdisciplinary focus on Innovation and Technology Adoption, Information Management, Digitalization, Supply Chain, and Behavioral Analysis. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong. Prior to his current role, he held academic positions at leading institutions in the Greater Bay Area, including Associate Researcher at the College of Management (AACSB-accredited) at Shenzhen University and Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He previously served as an Associate Professor at Jiangsu University, where he also completed his Postdoctoral research.
He has proven expertise in conducting ground-breaking research from a technology adoption and decision-making perspective and in delivering valuable insights. An accomplished scholar, he has authored over 85 academic papers in renowned journals (e.g., ABS/ABDC, SSCI/SCIE, Q1-ranked journals), in addition to publishing 2 books and 1 patent. He is a regular presenter at prestigious international gatherings, including the Academy of Marketing Association (AMA).
His contributions to the field have earned him significant global recognition. Since 2023, he has been ranked among the world's top 2% of scientists by the Stanford University/Elsevier list.
