Biography
Ijeoma Priscilla Ugwuanyi is a Senior Lecturer at the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, Hong Kong Metropolitan University. She earned her PhD from City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on how societal challenges affect organizations, and how organizations and their leaders respond to and contribute to addressing them. In this regard, she is interested in topics spanning Leadership, International Business, Gender and Racial diversity, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Organizational theory.
Prior to starting her PhD, Ijeoma worked as a Finance/Administrative Officer for a USAID funded project targeting vulnerable groups, which delivered economic and social empowerment initiatives. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria. Ijeoma is a life member of the BETA GAMMA SIGMA society, a society reserved for only the top 5% of business students around the world.
