This pathway is not applicable to graduates of Associate of Business of the University. They should refer to the regular undergraduate programmes offered by the University.
Programme Description
This programme helps students to develop an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of business organisations and build specialised knowledge and skills in marketing practice. On completion of this degree, learners will be equipped with the necessary skills to apply marketing techniques and concepts in the workplace, along with having acquired a wide range of management skills.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)
Explain and critically review business theories and concepts to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop solutions for multi-faceted problems in organisational settings.
Critically evaluate issues and make informed judgements in view of the organisation's strategies as well as ethical considerations.
Reflect on new ways of thinking and make meaningful contributions as a leader and member in a team setting and communicate effectively.
Command knowledge of the practices and activities of key aspects of marketing.
Integrate and apply advanced analytical skills to address issues and make decisions related to marketing.
Assimilate and synthesise new knowledge in different aspects of marketing, apply it to solve problems related to marketing, and develop practical recommendations.
Programme Requirement
Programme-specific entry requirement:
A recognized Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in a business-related area (or its equivalent).
Students pursuing this programme must successfully complete at least 63 credit-units of which at least 24 credit-units should be taken at 3000-level and another 24 credit-units at 4000-level. Students are required to complete:

(c) 27 credit-units of Marketing Concentration courses:

Choosing the first courses to get started
Students taking the Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Marketing Management programme through pathway 1 are recommended to begin their studies with MKT 3006BED Understanding Customers.
