Our graduates may use a completed HKMU award for advanced standing applications towards a second programme at the University.
The maximum entitlement of claimants may be considered case by case.
Credit Transfer Types and Award Criteria
The three types of credit transfer, namely, General Credit Transfer (GCT), Specific Credit Transfer (SCT) and Block Credit Transfer (BCT) are available. General Credit Transfer is only available for programmes with free-choice requirements.
For BCT and GCT applications, the normal award criteria shall apply.
For SCT applications, SCT shall be awarded towards a course for counting into the second programme based on the same course having been completed and counted into the first award.
Application Fees
Current application fees are valid up to 31-8-2023 are as follows:
GCT | HK$1,095 per application |
SCT/GCT | HK$1,095 per course, up to a maximum fee of HK$4,380 per application |
BCT | HK$4,380 per application |
The application fees will be revised from 1 September 2023. The new fees are as follows:
GCT | HK$1,115 per application |
SCT/GCT | HK$1,115 per course, up to a maximum fee of HK$4,450 per application |
BCT | HK$4,450 per application |
