Our graduates may use a completed HKMU award for advanced standing applications towards a second programme at the University.<\/p>

The maximum entitlement of claimants may be considered case by case.<\/p>

Credit Transfer Types and Award Criteria<\/strong><\/p>

The three types of credit transfer, namely,\u00a0General Credit Transfer (GCT), Specific Credit Transfer (SCT) and Block Credit Transfer (BCT)\u00a0are available. General Credit Transfer is only available for programmes with free-choice requirements.\u00a0<\/p>

For BCT and GCT applications, the normal award criteria shall apply.<\/p>

For SCT applications, SCT shall be awarded towards a course for counting into the second programme based on the same course having been completed and counted into the first award.<\/p>

Application Fees<\/strong><\/p>

Current application fees are valid up to 31-8-2023 are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>

GCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$1,095 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

SCT\/GCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$1,095 per course, up to a maximum fee of HK$4,380 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

BCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$4,380 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

The application fees will be revised from 1 September 2023.\u00a0 The new fees are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>

GCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$1,115 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

SCT\/GCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$1,115 per course, up to a maximum fee of HK$4,450 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

BCT<\/p><\/td>

HK$4,450 per application<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Applicants are required to pay the new fees if the applications are received on or after 1 September 2023.\u00a0 For applications sent in by mail, the cut-off date will be determined in accordance with the postmark.<\/div>
