The programme is designed for Training Officers of the Correctional Services Department who are interested in training management and development. It emphasises the integration of theory and practice. Students will acquire in-depth knowledge about curriculum design and development, teaching methodology, course assessment and accreditation, teaching skills and techniques, classroom management, and knowledge management. Students will enable to utilize gamification-based e-learning strategies and digital technologies in advanced learning and teaching and critically evaluate the key issues, practices, and techniques in the best use of digital technologies. The five courses in the programme include face-to-face lectures, self-directed learning activities, and self-study. Students are required to complete various learning activities, such as videos, readings, online exercises, online quizzes, online discussion, case studies, case analyses, group presentation, reflective journals, mini project, think-pair-share activity, and Jigsaw activity.
