Year 2019 celebrates the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus. The Library and the Goethe-Institut Hongkong will co-organize a Bauhaus Exhibition in the coming November! There will be a Book Display with titles related to Bauhaus, an Interactive Exhibition using the medium of virtual reality to transport visitors into the architectural space of the building as it existed in the 1920s and an Author Talk. Details of these activities will be released on the Library website soon, so stay tuned!
Last year, we recruited our first group of Library Ambassadors and Student Library Assistants to assist in various library activities and projects. Some of them will graduate very soon. To express our heartfelt gratitude to their support, certificates of appreciation were presented to them by our Librarian on 25 Apr 2019.
On the other hand, a new group of Library Ambassadors and Student Library Assistants have joined us this academic year. Training sessions for both staying and newly recruited Library Ambassadors and Student Library Assistants were held in Aug 2019. Our staying students shared their valuable experiences with the new students. Such exchange would definitely help the new helpers in picking up their new duties.
