Library Language Centre Workshop and Activities
Since the semester is beginning, we would like to take a moment to wish you a successful year and tell you how we can help.
Are you worried about the new English learning environment? For example, writing academic essays in English? Giving presentations in English? Getting higher IELTS scores? No worries! The HKMU Language Centre is here to help you with these new challenges.
We invite you to our Orientation Programme 2023, which will be held from Sep 4 to Sep 8. There are 10 sessions total, and you can choose between online and face to face (F2F) sessions. The content of each session repeats, so you might only need to join one.
During this orientation, the Language Centre’s current services will be explained in detail. Join us to find out exactly what to expect from these services and how you can register. And the two English advisors from the Language Centre, Ms. Jessica Lam and Ms. Jenny Wong, will also introduce themselves. You are encouraged to converse with them and ask questions in the orientation sessions.
Please check the timetable below and select the time slot(s) that you are free to join. To repeat, the content of each session repeats, so you might only need to join one. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email with all the details.
Please note that:
  • Face-to-face sessions will be held at the Level 1, Active Learning Space (ALS), Stanley Ho library. You will need to visit the venue to physically attend the session. You will receive the directions to the venue in your confirmation email.
