2021 Graduates Progressing to LiPACE Higher Diploma Programmes

 

 

The programme aims to develop students' languages, information technology, interpersonal communication, and other generic skills for further study. It also aims to broaden students' academic horizons through training in diverse subject areas. Graduates should be able to realize their potential and articulate to an academic programme of higher level according to their interests.

Objectives

Upon completion of the programme, participants should be able to:

• Apply a range of generic skills, including language, interpersonal communication, information technology and analytical skills to their daily life, further study and future employment;

• Examine the essential knowledge and skills in hospitality and tourism, creative media, science, and social science;

• Explain the impact of the new economy on their daily lives and future career;

• Apply self-care and self-management skills to maintain personal wellness and boost productivity; and

• Develop the ability of learning to learn.

 

Applicants are normally required to meet the following requirements:

• Completion of Secondary 6 (under the New Senior Secondary academic structure) with Level 1 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the DSE Examination, or its equivalent; or

• Other acceptable equivalent qualifications (including non-local qualifications obtained in or outside HK, or other qualifications/experience deemed to be equivalent); or

• Mature applicants aged 21 or above.

* Lectures will be conducted in English (supplemented with Chinese as appropriate).

 

Further Studies

• Graduates can articulate to all LiPACE Higher Diploma/Associate Degree programmes (including 8 SSSDP programmes).

• 1+2+2 articulate pathways [Diploma in Foundation StudiesèHigher Diploma/Associate DegreeèBachelor's Degree] are available to the graduates. For examples:
