The Development Bureau launched the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel (RSTMP) in December 2020. Qualified in-service practitioners are encouraged to register for the five types of tree management personnel on a voluntary basis. Each registration is valid for 3 years.
For renewal of registration, tree management personnel have to fulfil the minimum Continuing Education for Arboriculture (CEA) hour requirements as well as those on specified core competency areas for individual key job functions. The course is developed to meet the requirement of Registered Arborist and Tree Risk Assessor for CEA.
