Creative Writing student’s fiction gets published in literary journal

Details:
A student of the Creative Writing and Film Arts programme CHAN Ho-lam adopted the new style of writing of French Nouveau Roman for his honours project fiction titled〈了無生趣的日常〉. Unlike the usual narrative technique, he tried to present the life of a Japanese couple and stress on their oppression due to the confined space through application of objective and rational description in various aspects. The fiction has attained appreciation from the editor and been selected to publish in the “Special Zone Literature”, together with a review written by his supervisor Dr. Rebecca LEUNG Mo-ling, Head of Creative Arts cum Associate Professor of the School of Arts and Social Sciences.
