A film entitled Looking for Mom's Piano, created by Liu Zequn, a Year 3 student of the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Creative Writing and Film Arts prgoramme, was selected as the Official Selection of the 2021 Golden Plume Film Festival.

Two students from the same programme, Wu Xianyu and Hu Shilong, also took part in the production of the film. Xianyu was the lead actor while Shilong was responsible for the dubbing work. Dr Shao Dong, Assistant Professor of the Creative Arts Department, was the supervisor of the screenplay.
