Details:
Young Professionals Exhibition & Competition (YPEC) is hosted by the Younger Members Section of The Institution of Engineering and Technology as an annual project exhibition and competition event. YPEC 2020 was held online on 4 October 2020. Three graduates from the Internet Technology programme of the School of Science and Technology Ho Lok-hei, Ma Hiu-tung and Yee Chun-heng Henry presented their final year project to the public, showing how machine learning and augmented reality help dyslexia children learn Chinese characters in a self-directed way . Their project was selected out of 39 entries and awarded the WSP Asia Best Innovation Award (Sub Degree & Undergraduate section) in the competition.
