The Open University of Hong Kong achieved the world-wide recognition for its quality publications in the Mercury Excellence Awards 2019/2020, which is an international award organised by an overseas organisation, 'MerComm Inc', to promote excellence performance in the fields of communications and public relations.

The University's Annual Review 2018-2019 has won the Bronze Award in the university classification under 'Annual Reports – Overall Presentation' category, and the Corporate Brochure ‘Striving to Nurture, Transforming the Future’ has won the Honors Award under 'Brochure' category. These awards reaffirm the OUHK's dedication in engaging different stakeholders and providing all-round information in all aspects of the OUHK development.
