The 5th Academia–Industry Exchange by the Institute of International Business and Governance (IIBG) took place online from 3 to 4 December. An academic conference on the theme 'Business As Usual: How Do We Turn the New Normal into Normal?' was held on the first day, while the second day featured a practitioners' symposium on a related theme, 'From Agility to Sustainability: Hunting Talents in the Era of New Normal'.
The keynote speakers were Professor Wayne Cascio, world-renowned HR expert and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado; Professor Randy Chiu, Professor Emeritus at Hong Kong Baptist University; and Professor Ken Kamoche, Professor of HRM and Organization Studies at the University of Nottingham. Three parallel presentation sessions were conducted for participants to share their latest research findings. Over 120 local and overseas academics and practitioners attended.
