The Opening Ceremony of "Ink Global 2022: Foray into the Greater Bay Area" was held on 28 July. Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, HKMU President Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing together with other guests were invited to officiate at the ceremony.
Department of Creative Arts of the School of Arts and Social Sciences was invited to take part in the exhibition again this year, featuring students’ artwork in the exhibition. The students integrated new multimedia technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D animation to recreate traditional ink paintings, increasing the interest of different age groups in ink art.
Featuring 300 stunning ink paintings, the exhibition is now being held at the Wan Fung Art Gallery until 6 August. Following the first stop in Hong Kong, the exhibition will then be held in various cities in the Greater Bay Area, including Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, and Guangzhou.
