LiPACE partnered with different Japanese prefectural governments for this activity. During the tour, the official representatives introduced the geography and culture of Japan, interacted with participants via live broadcast, and offered them a real-time online tour to experience Japanese culture and learn relevant knowledge. Through this programme, participants have travelled prefectures such as Kochi, Kumamoto, Miyagi, Hyogo, Fukuoka, Tottori, Okinawa, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, Tokushima, Nagasaki, Saga, and Aomori online.
A teacher from one of the participating secondary schools shared that students enjoyed the virtual travel and learned much in the lectures.
