HKMU Scholars Recognised Among World's Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists

Thirteen scholars of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) have recently been ranked among the top 2% most-cited scientists worldwide by Stanford University. This achievement has truly reflected and recognised HKMU scholars' remarkable impact with their research outputs.

The relevant HKMU scholars include Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing, President of HKMU and Chair Professor of Environmental Chemistry; Prof. Ricky Kwok Yu-kwong, Vice President (Research & Student Development) and Chair Professor of Computer Engineering; Prof. Janet Wong Yuen-ha, Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Studies; Prof. Nora Tam Fung-yee, Chair Professor of Environmental Science and Conservation; Prof. Roy Vellaisamy Arul Lenus, Chair Professor of Intelligent Systems; Prof. Gary Tse, Associate Dean (Innovations and Research) and Professor of the School of Nursing and Health Studies; Prof. David Christopher Ahilstrom, Professor of the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration; Prof. Samuel Chu Kai-wah, Professor of the School of Nursing and Health Studies; Prof. Mimi Tse Mun-yee, Professor of the School of Nursing and Health Studies; Dr John Chui Kwok-tai, Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Technology; Dr Fu Yaru, Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Technology; Dr Pan Min, Lecturer at the School of Science and Technology; and Dr Billy Wong Tak-ming, Senior Research Coordinator of the University.

The list of top 2% most-cited scientists includes the most influential scholars from all over the world in 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields.
