Two students from the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) have been recognised for their exceptional achievements in academics, social service and leadership. Lee Wai-ha, a Year 3 student in Nursing – General Health Care, and Wong Chor-man, a Year 4 student in Physiotherapy, were named among the “Ten Outstanding University Students” in the 2025 Hong Kong Outstanding University Student Selection, organised by the Hong Kong Ming De Association.
Selected from a diverse pool of over 300 nominees, Wai-ha and Chor-man secured their spots in the top ten because of their outstanding performance. At the recent awards presentation ceremony, each received a scholarship of HK$10,000 in recognition of their accomplishments.
Founded in 2020, the Hong Kong Ming De Association is committed to engaging young people to create a more inclusive society and promote a dynamic culture.
