Biography
Dr. Eugene is a Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), where he teaches Anatomy and Physiology. He is also a qualified Life Coach. A Diplomate of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM), Dr. Eugene earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Santo Tomas in 2004. His clinical experience includes roles at Perpetual Hospital-Manila and as an Industrial and Occupational Health Physician for several corporations. Dr. Eugene has held academic appointments at the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Alice Lee Centre of Nursing Studies. He further expanded his expertise through international engagements, including research as a Visiting Physician at Hospital Universitari Clinic in Barcelona, Spain, where he received specialized training in HIV and Infectious Diseases at the Hospital Clinic. He also holds a Global Health Diploma from Finland's National Public Health Institute (KTL) and the University of Helsinki, and completed medical exchanges at Charité Hospital (Berlin) and Medizinische Hochschule Hannover in Germany. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is an avid outdoors and sports enthusiast with a keen interest in traveling and international culinary experiences.
