A review from the Hong Kong Food and Health Bureau# reveals a huge shortage of practicing physiotherapists in Hong Kong. Registered Physiotherapists can work in the hospitals, rehabilitation centres, public and private health organizations, non-governmental organizations, private clinics, sports and fitness institutions, elderly homes, community centres, and special schools.
