Beginning in 2023, the University will hold two Congregations each year – the Summer Congregation and the Winter Congregation. This change has been introduced to offer greater flexibility and convenience for our students, ensuring that all graduates have the opportunity to attend a Congregation.
The Summer Congregation will be held in July, while the Winter Congregation will be held during the fourth quarter of this year. Graduates will receive an invitation to attend a Congregation based on their programme type and conferment date. Please find the details below:

2023 HKMU 33rd Congregation
The 33rd Congregation of Hong Kong Metropolitan University will be held during the fourth quarter of this year. Details of the Congregation will be announced during the week of 3 October 2023.
Please check your HKMU student email account regularly to ensure you will receive the invitation email from the University. Upon receipt of this email, please confirm your attendance of the Congregation via MyHKMU.
