2. Register for an account with your HKMU email.
3. Upon successful registration, an account activation email will be sent to your HKMU email automatically. Make sure to check your junk / spam folder of your email in case you couldn’t receive the account activation email. Please follow the instructions to activate your account.
4. You’re all set and can start your FREE practices right away!
5. You are highly encouraged to watch the introduction video to understand the features and types of tests available on the platform.

1. Numerical Reasoning Test – This test assesses the candidate's ability to make the correct calculations using a set of numerical data such as charts and tables.
2. Verbal Reasoning Test – Verbal reasoning assessments measure the candidate's ability to interpret and draw conclusions from a written passage of text.
3. Logical Reasoning Tests– In this test, the candidate's problem-solving, pattern-identifying, and reasoning abilities are evaluated using a sequence of diagrams and shapes.
4. Diagrammatic Reasoning Tests– These assessments require candidates to use logical reasoning skills to interpret the patterns in a sequence to solve problems.
5. Abstract Reasoning Tests – These assessments assess the candidate's abstract reasoning ability using a sequence of diagrams, shapes, numbers or patterns.
6. Spatial Reasoning Tests – These assessments measure the candidate's ability to compare and analyse various 2D and 3D shapes to solve problems.
7. Numerical Estimation Tests – These measure a candidate's ability to work with numbers quickly and effectively to make mathematical calculations without the use of a calculator.
8. Critical Reasoning Tests – In this assessment, the candidate's ability to critically reason is measured using a variety of statements and questions around the information provided.
9. Personality Questionnaire – Personality assessments or questionnaires aim to understand the candidate's workplace preferences through a series of questions or statements.
10. Situational Judgement Tests – In this assessment, candidates are provided with likely scenarios and will be required to choose the best (and worst) decision options.

1. Quality Over Quantity

• • It's best to practice few tests in depth. Complete each question and fully understand the solutions provided, rather than attempting many tests as fast as possible.
  • For example, if you are practicing Verbal Reasoning, try focussing only on 3 tests until you are comfortable with the styles of question asked.
  • This will help you identify areas of weakness and improve. From this you will gain more confidence with this assessment type in the future.

 2. Utilise the Test Reports Available

• • After you have completed a test, visit your reports page to identify where you excelled, and where you struggled.
  • For example, once you have completed a Numerical Reasoning Test, you should look at the solutions and identify topics that the report suggests you need to focus on.
  • All GF tests provide clear solutions to questions where necessary to help you understand how employers score real job assessments.

3. Learn About Yourself

• • Use GF Assessments to identify the skills and competencies you need for the role you are applying for, and those that you already possess.
  • For example, you can use the Personality Questionnaire to identify the traits employers are looking for, and whether you possess these.
  • Or use Video Interviews or Situational Judgment tests to discover the behavioural competencies employers commonly seek in applicants.
