This hands-on internship experience in the development of an enterprise data security system was transformational. It immersed me in cutting-edge technology, which is something I think potential employers will appreciate. Besides, using my AI expertise and knowledge learnt in the classroom to transform theories into practice in workplace was a completely new challenge. But I'm glad that I gained this experience into AI applications and was able to turn concepts into real-world skills.

The internship with the special events team of the Exhibition Department at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council introduced me to the almost limitless possibilities for using advanced technology to maximize human interactions and exchange of ideas. I also managed to sharpen my interpersonal skills through my firsthand experience of thorough coordination and close collaboration between team members. In addition, I also learned about the importance of attention to details and the stringent standards any professional organizer must maintain to be sure of delivering well-run events.

This remote internship with a Turkish strategy and investment consultancy was an eye-opening experience to me by engaging in a translation and marketing content writing project. Primarily, I had to focus on translation which gave me solid work experience to be included my CV. But it was also a chance to strengthen my technical competencies, and additional market research tasks let me show my versatility. Moreover, it taught me about the workplace competencies and importance of good communication skills. Upon successful completion of the internship, I should have more career options in the future.

The video-production internship with the Hong Kong Observatory was a practical work experience. The most vital thing I gained from the internship was valuable insights on how to maintain the balance between amusing visuals and storylines and accurate educational knowledge. I also had a real sense of satisfaction when I saw my videos playing on the Observatory's YouTube channel. Overall, it definitely enriched my portfolio which will help when I present it to potential employers.
