Butterfly Conservation: Field Trip and Volunteering

Hong Kong’s mild climate and ample rainfall has bred a rich variety of flora and fauna. Among them, there are about 300 butterfly species in Hong Kong. As a part of nature, have you ever thought about getting a better understanding of Hong Kong’s nature, and even contributing to Hong Kong’s environmental protection?
HKMU Student Affairs Office (SAO) is now introducing Butterfly Conservation: Field Trip and Volunteering for HKMU Service Alliance members. Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve is a renowned area for butterflies watching in Hong Kong and Asia. Over 200 species of butterflies was recorded in Fung Yuen, which accounts for about 90% of butterfly species in Hong Kong. Through this Service-Learning programme, you can help to protect and improve the habitat for butterflies, and gain more knowledge and experience on environmental conservation. Details as follow:
