Peer Mentorship Scheme (PMS) aims to recruit a group of students with enthusiasm and optimism to serve as Peer Mentors to support newly arrived full-time undergraduate non-local students as Mentees in better adjustment to University life and Hong Kong cultures.
The objectives of the Scheme are:
To assist non-local freshmen in their transition to a new environment with experienced and supportive mentors;
To build community and belonging among non-local freshmen by connecting them with their peers and mentors;
To offer advice and resources to them to manage challenges of living away from home; and
To promote an integrated and inclusive environment within the community.

Serve as group leaders and provide logistics support to a series of Orientation events;
Plan and implement attractive mass events and outreaching activities for non-local freshmen to explore the University and Hong Kong;
Keep track of the adjustment of your mentees and direct them to resources and services on campus and community when necessary;
Serve as Teaching Assistant to support non-local Chinese-speaking students in their Cantonese learning through various means of communication; and
Foster culture and language exchange among local and non-local students.
Be an active full-time undergraduate student in AY2023/24, local and non-local students are welcome
Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and responsible
Highly dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others
Possess good communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Get 3.00 or above cGPA
