Residence Tutors will be provided with:

1. Plenty of training and opportunities for developing invaluable leadership skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and acquiring experience in the process;
2. A completion certificate and a reference letter upon satisfactory performance; and
3. An accommodation allowance of HK$25,000 for recognition of their contribution and effort upon satisfactory of completed service.

Successful applicants must:

1. Commit to being Residence Tutors during their term of appointment.  If they quit the programme or defer/ suspend/ withdraw their studies, they are no longer eligible to stay in OCA and must leave OCA upon request.  The accommodation fee paid will be forfeited while the deposit will be refunded after deduction of any charges;
2. Understand that the accommodation allowance of HK$25,000 is subject to their contribution and effort upon satisfactory of completed service.  The allowance may be reduced subject to the interim and final performance appraisal and will be disbursed in two equal instalments by end of 2023 Autumn Term and the programme respectively;
3. Attend the induction workshop, leadership training workshops, orientation, monthly meetings and any other activities/ workshops as assigned by SAO;
4. Submit a leave plan with SAO in case of a period of absence from duty (maximum 1-month);
5. Maintain a balanced lifestyle to discharge their responsibilities as Residence Tutors; and
6. Comply with all terms and conditions on Residence Regulations and University rule, regulation and policy. Residence Tutors must leave OCA upon request if they violate any Residence Regulations or the University's rules, regulations and policy, or fail to discharge their duties satisfactorily.  The accommodation fee paid will be forfeited while the deposit will be refunded after deduction of any charges.
