They provide trainings and job opportunities to underprivileged mothers to upcycle household food waste into sustainable jewelry. The aim is to help them enhance their capabilities and have the chances of improving financial situations. They are funded with an amount totaling HKD$150,000 including SIE Fund.”
The representative of Ways Out will share their company mission, including household waste upcycling and providing job opportunities to underprivileged mothers, how to strike a balance between social responsibility and business profit. Students who attended the sharing session will receive a “Ways Out DIY jewelry kit” to produce your own sustainable jewelry and show your supports to underprivileged mothers.This is an enrichment workshop for MetroChallenge 2022/23. MetroChallenge strives to inspire students' innovation via “Experience” and “Empower” in the way of out-of-the-classroom learning.
