AIA Hong Kong launches the “AIA Creator Fund” to recognise the creativity of young people, their passion for building a better future and their ability to create impact with out-of-the-box thinking.
Five awardees will each receive HK$1 million in funding to support them in creating social value and a sustainable future for Hong Kong.
Furthermore, the awardees will receive mentorships and trainings conducted by seasoned experts to help them bring their concept to life.
There will also be publicity opportunities to showcase their creativity and vision for society.

Join the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC)!
You will have the chance to work with partners from the government, the business sector and NGOs to plan businesses that create social value.
Startup Awards
Two Champion Teams will be offered Startup Awards of up to HK$300,000 per team to turn their business ideas into reality. Two Runner-up Teams will receive up to HK$150,000 per team.
Timely Impact Award
HK$50,000 will be given to the team with the business idea that is most relevant in addressing a current challenge of Hong Kong in 2023-24.
Exposures
Selected award winners may enjoy a fast track to pitch in competitions in Asia and regions beyond.
About HKSEC
The Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC) is a social venture startup competition organised by the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and sponsored by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau.
Since its inception in 2007, over 9,700 post-secondary undergraduate and postgraduate students and fresh graduates from 145 academic institutions have been participating and generating over 1,750 business ideas for social enterprise.
Through a structured competition model, HKSEC encourages students to employ a creative entrepreneurial approach to solve real world social issues. HKSEC aims to accelerate the growth of social enterprise startups led by young people.

We are pleased to inform you that Cathay Hackathon 2023 is now open for application! They are now inviting youngsters who are passionate about aviation and technology to help them shape the future travel lifestyle experience. 
 
Event details:  
Date:  18-19 November 2023 
Venue: Cathay City (Hong Kong International Airport, 8 Scenic Rd, Chek Lap Kok) 
Application deadline: 1 October 2023 
Target audience: university students 
All students are welcome to participate in Hackathon, regardless of their level of experience. Participants will be challenged to develop new ideas to address some current pain points related to travel lifestyle and present their cutting-edge technological solutions to a panel of industry experts. Winning teams will be offered a fast track in the selection process for the Digital & IT Internship or Graduate Trainee Programme at Cathay, providing them with a valuable opportunity to gain experience and launch a career in the field!
