The Student Affairs Office is taking measures to meet the housing needs of HKMU’s incoming students, as well as anticipate the growth in numbers and demand for off-campus housing by non-local senior students. As such, we are offering guidance and assistance to students on their search for suitable off-campus accommodations.

Notes on Signing a Tenancy Agreement
Many landlords and tenants fail to enter into detailed tenancy agreements when leasing or renting properties, often opting to use one of the standard tenancy agreement forms available or making oral agreements instead. However, if a dispute arises between either party regarding the agreement, it may be challenging to resolve as the obligations and rights of both the landlord and tenant have not been clearly defined. This lack of clarity may lead to negative consequences for both parties involved.
In view of this, students are strongly recommended to read the followings before entering into a tenancy agreement.
Both current and prospective HKMU students can explore various housing options by clicking on this link (login required*), some of which may offer special rates exclusive to students.
