academically outstanding and\/or talented local and non-local undergraduate students. No separate application is required except the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www-uat.hkmu.edu.hk\/sao\/sports-and-wellness\/hong-kong-metropolitan-university-entrance-sports-scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HKMU Entrance Sports Scholarship<\/a><\/strong>. The University will directly inform the qualified students of the relevant scholarship awards.<\/p><p>A number of University-funded, donated and government scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating academic merit or non-academic achievements. In 2021\/22, a remarkable 1,600 HKMU students received scholarships totalling over HK$24 million.
