According to the Asian Digital Transformation Index by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Hong Kong and Singapore were among the top three in Asia in the categories of digital infrastructure, human capital, and industry connectivity. In recent years, the Singaporean government has actively developed its innovation economy and has topped the Global Innovation Index in Asia several times. Malaysia has also actively promoted the Malaysia Digital as the new national strategic initiative to encourage and attract companies, talents and investment.<\/span><\/h5><\/header>
In light of that, the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF) will organize the \u201cFuture Impact Leaders Program\u201d in November with 3 focused areas on 1) Smart cities, 2) Social innovation, and 3) Digital transformation. Training, research, and overseas exchange visits will be organised to understand the innovative examples of Singapore and Malaysia, and allow us to reflect on how to apply in Hong Kong's context.<\/span><\/h5>
Participants will also have the opportunity to visit local start-ups, talk with young leaders, and learn about the innovative policies promoting innovation in Singapore and Malaysia, fully immersing themselves in the local innovation culture, enriching their knowledge, and preparing for future economic development and transformation. Before and after the trip, we will also arrange three training workshops for participants to learn about relevant topics, and they will have the opportunity to participate in a media writing workshop to turn what they learn into articles that may be published on other media platforms.<\/span><\/h5>
