得奖学生及课程:刘宇谦，金融科技及创新荣誉工商管理学士VASANDANI Nimisha Haresh，金融科技及创新荣誉工商管理学士MINHAJ Anosha，专业会计荣誉工商管理学士MINHAJ Ramsha，电子及电脑工程学荣誉工学士 比赛:数码港 – 大学合作夥伴计划奖项:港币10万元种子基金详情:都会大学三位李兆基商业管理学院学生与一位科技学院学生组成队伍「Finvictus」参加「数码港 – 大学合作夥伴计划2021-2022」。团队成功在去年底晋身计划第二阶段，获得在今年二月报告计划的机会。参赛队伍需向投资者展示以金融科技为主题的创业计划，包括人工智能丶区块链和网络安全为主要技术。Finvictus最终成功脱颖而出，获发数码港创意微型基金港币10万元种子基金，於未来六个月实践计划。
学生:周子坚 麦子峯 课程:电脑及互动娱乐荣誉文学士比赛:香港青年协会领袖学院主办的「自主•创出路」技能转型培训计划奖项:季军得奖项目:自愈系详情:修读电脑及互动娱乐课程的三年级学生周子坚及四年级学生麦子峯，早前跟其他院校的学生共五人组成队伍，参加由香港青年协会领袖学院主办的「自主•创出路」技能转型培训计划。此计划目的为青年提供未来技能培训及实战营运的经验，以应对「零工经济」下的新常态，并提升他们的就业及财务能力。凭着出色及创新的创业计划书，队伍最终于计划中获得季军，以及港币$10,000的起动基金。得奖项目「自愈系」旨在协助大众在疫情中舒缓压力及低落的情绪。队伍特别设计了独特的可爱卡通，应用在他们的产品上，当中包括公仔、夜灯和装饰等。他们将会开立网店及经营市集摊档售卖所设计的产品，亦会从实战中体验及实践所学。

After graduating from OUHK, Krutz obtained an M.Sc. in Engineering Management from CityU. He is now completing his second master degree, M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, at CUHK. Krutz has a wide range of working experience. He has been with Siemens, VTech, and PCCW.
Hugo Leung Wai-yin, who graduated from his four-year programme in 2015, won the Best Paper Award for his ‘intelligent pill-dispenser’ design at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering’s International Conference on Consumer Electronics – China 2015.
The pill-dispenser alerts patients via sound and LED flashes to pre-set dosage and time intervals. Unlike units currently on the market, Hugo’s design connects to any mobile phone globally. In explaining how it works, he said: ‘There are three layers in the portable pillbox. The lowest level is a controller with various devices which can be connected to mobile phones in remote locations. Patients are alerted by a sound alarm and flashes. Should they fail to follow their prescribed regime, data can be sent via SMS to relatives and friends for follow up.’ The pill-dispenser has four medicine slots, plus a back-up with a LED alert, topped by a 500ml water bottle. It took Hugo three months of research and coding to complete his design, but he feels it was worth all his time and effort.
Hugo’s public examination results were disappointing and he was at a loss about his future before enrolling at the OUHK, which he now realizes was a major turning point in his life. He is grateful for the OUHK’s learning environment, its industry links and the positive guidance and encouragement from his teachers. The University is now exploring the commercial potential of his design with a pharmaceutical company. He hopes that this will benefit the elderly and chronically ill, as well as the society at large.
Soon after completing his studies, Hugo joined an automation technology company as an assistant engineer. He is responsible for the design and development of automation devices. The target is to minimize human labor and increase the quality of products. He is developing products which are used in various sections, including healthcare, manufacturing and consumer electronics.
