Kenneth Chan Tsz Kin and Donald Mak Tsz Fung, Year 3 and 4 students of the Computing and Interactive Entertainment programme, formed a team of five with the students of other institute to join a start-up scheme called \u201cOwn My Path Skills Transformation Training Programme\u201d organized by the HKFYG Leadership Institute earlier.\u00a0 The Programme aims to provide young people with future skills training and practical vocational experiences to cope with the new normal of the \u201cgig economy\u201d and to enhance their employability and financial capability.\u00a0 With the outstanding and innovative start-up plan, the team won the 2nd runner-up and obtained HK$10,000 start-up fund to start their business.<\/p>

The winning project is called \u201cThe Cure\u201d, which aims to help people relieve stress and depression during the pandemic.\u00a0 The team have designed a unique and adorable cartoon character for their products including doll, night light and decorations, etc.\u00a0 They will set up an online shop and a market stall to sell the products, so as to gain hands-on experience and practice in running a business.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
