Two teams of Creative Arts students and graduates participated in the 'Jumping Frames - Hong Kong International Movement-image Festival 2022' with their short films Bon Appétit and O respectively and were selected as finalists under the Hong Kong Student Section to compete for various awards. After the screenings in September, Bon Appétit directed by Hugo Yeung won the audiences' praise and took home the 'Jumping Frames Audience Award'.O directed by Fok Chi-fung successfully seized the 'Jumping Frames Student Award' selected by the professional judges for its unique shooting and narrative style.
Bon Appétit tells the story of a dead mother who comes home again to cook a last dinner for her daughter. The short film O, shot in black and white, brings out the story of the protagonist traveling between three different spacetime.
