Organised by Hulu Culture, the Heritage X Arts X Design Walk Plus project this year features an exhibition under the theme of light industries in Hong Kong. Tertiary institutions and local artists were invited to create innovative works revolving around the theme. Students and teachers of the University's Department of Creative Arts were also invited to showcase their boundless creativity.

A total of 14 short animations along with three poster projects created by HKMU Creative Arts students were exhibited in the event. Working in groups or individually, students made reference from light industries such as garment manufacturing, the toy industry, the red-white-blue nylon bags, and white canvas shoes in their works.

Teachers of the Department of Creative Arts were also invited to participate in the event. Senior Lecturers Janet Lau Man-ying, Vincent Mak Shing-fung, and Walter Wong Shu-kei all drew inspiration from the traditional movable type printing and showcased their imagination through an artwork installation, an animation and an experimental animation respectively.
