Business students Suja Khajum Limbu, Samir Kharel, Winnie Huang Rong and Sophia Liu Linfei represented HKMU in the Future HR Talents Hackathon, organised by the HKMA Human Capital Management Society, a member of The Hong Kong Management Association. By analysing a real-life human resources case, the students identified the challenges facing a company and offered a unique, effective and innovative solution. Their outstanding performance earned them the first runner-up position in the competition. They were also given a cash prize and a job-shadowing experience.
The competition aims to enhance the students' problem-solving ability and practical experience by applying theoretical knowledge in simulated real-life situations. It also provides students with valuable opportunities to exchange with industry professionals, professors and other participants, helping them expand their professional networks and open up future career opportunities.
