HSBC Scholarships

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) has a long history of supporting HKMU students through bursaries and scholarships. Currently the HKMU students are proud of being awarded the HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship, HSBC Vocational Education Scholarship, HSBC Overseas Scholarship and HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship.

Who's Eligible?

Applicants should be full-time local Sub-degree or Bachelor's degree students.

Types of Scholarship:

HSBC provides the following scholarships for HKMU students, namely:
1. HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship
2. HSBC Vocational Education Scholarship
3. HSBC Overseas Scholarship
4. HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship

How to Apply?

Applicants should submit the online application form together with supporting documents to SAO during the application period.
Please read the respective “Guidance Notes” before completing the online application via the student portal “MyHKMU”.

Applicants who are successful in the internal interview should find a faculty member to provide supplementary information (e.g. reference letter, personal qualities not captured by the application form, any special learning needs, family background, etc.) if necessary.

Notification of Result

The internal nomination result will be announced (via e-mail) in February 2024. Final results and payment arrangement will be announced in June 2024.
